Just for FamiliesWe believe that connecting young people to the bush is fundamental to their education. Our field guides know how to immerse the whole family in the big outback landscape filled with wildlife and stories from the bush. When you join one of two Arkaba Walk departures dedicated just for families these July school holidays, your children travel free. That's a savings of $2,500 per child!
Don't know your Western Grey from your Common Wallaroo, your Fat-Tailed Dunnart from your Western Quoll? Well, things are about to change! At Arkaba we have 60,000 acres of private conservancy for your family to share quality time in the beautiful surrounds of nature and wildlife. There's no better way to take in the sights and sounds of the outback than by exploring on foot - tracking wildlife using their habits and behavioural cues, learning stories of early pioneers and one of Australia's oldest landscapes.
$2,500 per person, twin-share all-inclusive. Up to two children aged between 8-16 years free of charge with our compliments when travelling with two adults.
We take care of everything including your flight from Adelaide to Port Augusta and connecting road transfer to Arkaba in the Flinders Ranges, all gourmet meals, beverages from a premium South Australian open bar, two night's swag camping on our famous star beds, one night in the 1850s Arkaba Homestead and your return trip by scenic road transfer through the Clare Valley wine country. And there's plenty of room for your slippers and favourite teddy bear as a support vehicle takes your main luggage between camps leaving you carrying a light hydration backpack, your lunch and binoculars. Your experience at Arkaba is fully hosted by our exceptional team of field guides.
