Walk with solo travellersIf your friends have temporarily deserted you and won't join your outback walking holiday, you're not alone! The Arkaba Walk is ideal for solo travellers. We regularly welcome solo travellers from all over the world. We've dedicated a departure 7-10 June 2019 for solo travellers to come together and experience Wild Bush Luxury on the Arkaba Walk. All inclusive. Fully supported. Expertly guided. As always. No couples. No groups. Just you, the great outdoors and up to ten like-minded solo adventurers!
$2,900 per adult twin-share, all-inclusive from Adelaide.
You will be paired with another single traveller of the same sex at no additional charge. If having your own swag deck and luxury homestead guestroom is non-negoitable you can pay $1,500 to guarantee your own space on all three nights.
What's IncludedYour four-day Arkaba Walk ex Adelaide includes all gourmet meals, beverages, expert field guides, two night's camping in deluxe swags on our famous star beds, one night in the restored Arkaba Homestead and a support vehicle for transporting your main luggage between camps. You will also be provided with a suitable hydration backpack with plenty of room for your lunch, camera and items of a personal nature. Your package also includes a one-way private charter flight from Adelaide to the Flinders Ranges and a scenic road transfer returning you to Adelaide with scenic stops, lunch and wine tasting included.

Adelaide to Arkaba
Make your way to General Aviation Terminal at Adelaide Airport by 7:30am. Meet your private charter flight departing at 8:00am arriving Hawker airstrip at 08:50am. While enjoying a packed breakfast your Arkaba guide will transfer you 45 minutes by road to Wilpena Pound to begin your walk.
Arkaba Homestead to Black's Gap Camp
Set off on foot through the basin of Wilpena Pound before walking onto Arkaba's private property and descend to Black's Gap Camp.
Black's Gap Camp to Elder Camp
Spot big red and western grey kangarros and emus as we cross strands of Cypress trees to the foothills of the Elder Range.
Elder Camp to Arkaba Heritage Homestead
Traverse mature Mallee forests and the beautiful Red Range before crossing ancient creek beds, lined with magnificent River Red Gums to overnight in the beautifully restored 1850s Arkaba Homestead.

Scenic Transfer to Adelaide
Depart Arkaba Homestead, a Luxury Lodges of Australia property at 8:30am for your road transfer through the Clare Valley wine country. Scenic stops, lunch and wine tasting included, As always!
